“I have been struggling with pain in my left hand whenever I try to grip something since July of 2017. It has limited my ability to do many of my favourite hobbies, and of course what I am able to do at the gym – for example I can’t use the TRX since I can’t grab the stupid handle. It’s one of those situations where nobody can figure the problem out which has been incredibly frustrating.
Since joining Lean Strong, the trainer team have been great at quickly adapting exercises in order to reduce the amount of grip involved without sacrificing strength gains. When my medical team decided I should immobilize my hand to aid in identifying the problem, Coaches Sarah and Andrew were awesome!
Sarah and Andrew went above and beyond taking the time to create a workout program for me which kept me on the same trajectory for my goals prior to the splint.
I have continued to notice small improvements in my overall strength, and have the same level of enjoyment whenever I come to the gym. I am thankful the Lean Strong team has found ways for this to not slow me down.”
